About Us

The founder of the Serena Esthetics Center Ülker AKISKA was born in 20.11.1946 in Çorum. She has been graduated from Vocational High School for Cosmetics in Germany Munich (Schwabinger Berufsfachhoch Schule für Kozmetik im BDK Fransizka Teebken) after completing the first, middle and high school education. She has made studies on esthetics and weight problems for 20 years after serving as a research assistant for 2 years in Munich dermatology clinic.

She has founded the Serena Esthetics Healthy Weight Loss Center in Ankara Kızılay with a paramedic team consisting of specialist doctors, nutritionist, dermatologists, psychologist, physiotherapist, charge nurses and specialist estheticians by the permission of the Ministry of Public Health and Welfare for the first time in Turkey in 1983. She brought the second branch into service in Çankaya and the third in Tunalıhilmi.

She has supported opening the Esthetics and Skincare Department in Vocational School for Girls in Ankara Yenimahalle in the following years and voluntarily served as a teacher in this department.

She has brought Alsancak Branch of NUTRA SLIM into service for Izmir people with the offer she has received from NUTRA SLIM which is the Turkish Representative of the American Inches a Weigh Weight Loss Resort in 1993. She has opened the second branch of NUTRA SLIM Karşıyaka-Bostanlı on January 1st, 2000 after a while later.

She has become separated from the NUTRA SLIM in 2001 and changed her brand name as NUTRA SYSTEM.

In addition to the services she has provided since 1993 in Izmir, she has brought the SERENA ESTETİK MERKEZİ (ESTHETICS CENTER) operating in Ankara for a time into service again as SERENA ESTETİK GÜZELLİK MERKEZİ (ESTHETICS BEAUTY CENTER) in 2002.

Operating in accordance with the new regulation of the Ministry of Health since 2010, Özel SERENA Polikliniği takes following world-wide developments and applying them in full as a fundamental principle.
